Benefits of your homegrown Aloe Vera
If you cut the Aloe Vera leaves, you will notice they contain a clear gel that’s a popular home remedy. It has cooling and healing effects which you can apply to the skin. You can use it to heal first and second-degree burns. Due to its healing properties, you can also apply it on your skin if u suffer from eczema or skin dryness and irritation. I had an eczema outburst recently and someone gave me an Aloe Vera tube gel to apply. The tube said it was 99.99% aloe vera but I realized that I had the actual thing, I had 100% Aloe Vera and it felt much better.
Applying aloe vera on skin also helps reduce acne and redness on skin caused by certain skin conditions.
Some people use the aloe vera gel as a hair conditioner or makeup removal.
Although you can digest the aloe vera gel, I recommend you do not eat too much.
